I am running for few years and participated in many half marathons, trail runs and have been running in challenging weather conditions however I was not able to get the desired results and my performance was not that great. I joined BootCamp Yellow group in Oct 2015 and to enhance my performance and gain strength to run distance of half marathon. I was gaining strength through the focused strength training program however I wanted to achieve the new heights in Year 2016. Though my strength training was great however my nutrition was lacking and I realized this during my practice run. That’s the moment I decided to consult a dietician who can give me customized program which will balance my strength training and running schedule.

Jatin Arora (Head Coach & Founder-BootCamp Yellow, he is my coach too) gave me the reference of Dr Gitanjali Jaswal. I met Dr Gitanjali in Oct 2016 with high expectation and she didn’t disappoint me. At the very first meeting only I decided to go ahead with Dr Gitanjali’s diets since she has very strong and proven credentials. I had very specific goal in mind which was to have diet plan to increase the running performance. When I met Gitanjali first time my body weight was around 67 kgs however body fat percentage was high (around 29%) which was not healthy for long distance runners. Gitanjali did initial analysis and then recommended the diet plan which I took for 90 days. One of the Important aspect of the diet plan was you need to diligently & religiously follow the plan and continue to do strength training & running program.

In Year 2016 I had a great run in Airtel Delhi Half Marathon then followed by Standard Charted Mumbai Marathon in Jan 2017. I followed the diet plan for three months and at the end of third month I lost approx. 5 kgs of body weight and my body fat percentage was 20%. I believe I was able to achieve the objectives which I had initially planned. I highly recommend Dr Gitanjali’s diet plan to every long distance runner who wants to achieve maximum performance.

Gitanjali Ma’am!

Sitting on my lazy chair this Sunday morning, I went down my memory lane….9 years ago!!!Feeling extremely proud of myself somewhere, proud because after having borne 2 beautiful children, motherhood had taken a huge toll on me!!! I was the biggest in size ever!!!

Being optimistic and a fun loving person by nature I was inspired to join Dr. Gitanjali!!

She was a nutritionist to many but for me she turned out to be God’s biggest blessing!She transformed me and my world completely!!Under her guidance I lost 15 kgs in 5 months!!! I learnt the perfect way of sensible eating without any starving at all!!

Since the past 9 years I stand tall enough maintaining my confidence, my dressing, and my smile constantly being the highlight of My Personality!!!

I lost 11kg in 5 months thanks to the perseverance, commitment, support and diet plans provided by Dr Gitanjali. I did not have any reference for her and started literally ONE FINE DAY!! What a journey it was and continues to be. Dr Gitanjali coached me with the scientific facts about food and eating habits including the fact that i can’t skip carbohydrates. She would quickly understand my angst when the scale would not show a change and then call me and give me a pep talk. Of course her method was largely gentle. She would constantly encourage me not to give up and I was doing ‘good’. And send me diets that were completely customized to my body needs, lifestyle and health.

It’s been fabulous working with her and I would strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to embark on a healthy lifestyle.

For me consulting Dr Gitanjali for my wellness has truly been a wonderful experience . I have twice looked upon Dr. Gitanjali for not just weight loss but other medical issues as well. First time around, I was having problem conceiving my second child and that is when through her diets and herbs consultation my body clock and rhythm started falling in place. A foodie, culinarian by choice,  I am also a working Finance professional. With the onset of undetected type II diabetes, I gradually started gaining weight and even before I could realize this, I was at 76kg (recommended ideal weight 55-60kg for my built) along with weight associated ailments. On attending one of the health & wellness session conducted by Dr Gitanjali, I enrolled myself into her capable hands and there has been no looking back. I have known her since 2012 and she is one pillar that I find myself held up by.

I lost flat 10 kg in six months – a big feat for a foodie like me to achieve. This couldn’t have been possible without Dr Gitanjali and the prescribed diets and herbs …which I can trust blindly. I must admit that even with my inconsistencies sometimes, Dr Gitanjali has been very patient with me and worked closely with me to achieve this goal. I was recommended to Dr Gitanjali by a dear friend of mine, and the decision to engage on a diet plan with her, is one that has defied the law of diminishing returns.

I am so glad to see a website such as Dr Gitanjali’s  which will be life changing in the way we eat, we think about food and what we eat and finally the way we feel about ourselves.

When I followed the diet regime with Dr Gitanjali , there are some significant changes that came about in my life:

1. I lost weight over a sustained period of time which was gradual, frustrating at times but lasted much longer. Hence for me to even think of a diet for a few years did not make sense.

2. I learnt what suited me and what did not which again over a period of time taught me to manage what I should and should not in a much better manner.

3. I learnt about various varieties of food which I had never known which added a lot of simplicity and not restricting me to one kind.

4. My consultation with Dr Gitanjali definitely gave me the confidence that I could sustain through a diet, say no to foods which I needed to and still not feel bad and most of all eat well.

I would be very keen to restart another round of association with Dr Gitanjali soon and finally  a big thanks to her for causing a change in my life….

Of healthy disposition, weight never increased no matter how much I ate. As a consequence I never worried about my weight.  A general checkup revealed high thyroid and cholesterol levels, along with low calcium levels. I realized then that weight wasn’t the only thing I wasn’t concerned about. High levels indicated that I wasn’t really fit. One friend recommended Dr Gitanjali Jaswal, who specialized in Diets and Ayurveda. After a consultation session, she planned a diet according to my body constitution.  Started following diet, eating simple meals, increasing fiber and decreasing carbohydrates intake. Within 6 weeks, I underwent a transformation. I lost 6 kilos, and managed to get my cholesterol and thyroid levels back to normal. I felt changed not only physically but mentally, waking up each morning refreshed and energetic. At first I doubted whether I could cope with the diet but I saw that it obtained amazing results which I could not have fathomed. I was highly motivated by my family members who suppressed my urges and forced me to stick to my diet. For the most part, my two children were always on my case and stopped me whenever I had the urge to eat the occasional samosa or pakoda.

This diet really helped me and gave me confidence. I finally knew that if I moderated my needs and maintained a diet, I could lose weight and feel fit mentally, physically and spiritually. In addition, this diet also helped my children, who are now eating fiber, low-carb food and salads along with me, to remind me of their indomitable support. I would like to extend my gratitude to my dietician, Dr Gitanjali Jaswal, for helping me with this problem.
